Please take a look at this Mauna Loa Volcano Eruption Live Cam. With the volcano quieted down, HVO’s updates on Mauna Loa will shift from weekly to monthly, with the next one to be released April 6. If you look carefully around early morning or late evening, you may see a few thermal areas emitting steam. Accordingly, the observatory on Thursday lowered Mauna Loa’s volcano alert level for ground-based hazards from Advisory to Normal, and the aviation color code from Yellow to Green.
